Academic Upskilling (AU)

and Digital Foundations (DF)

Academic Upskilling (AU) provides adults with support to improve their reading, writing, numeracy, communications, and digital technology skills. Participants learn in small class sizes with fellow students who are preparing to pursue the goal paths of : post-secondary education, apprenticeship, employment, or independence

The program is learner-centered and tailored to individuals’ learning needs. Learners engage in a mix of live instruction, independent learning, group work, webinar sessions, and one-on-one academic mentorship. It is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Training, and Skills Development.
