Get Involved: Centre Volunteer or Board Member
Centre Volunteers: Volunteers are an essential part of CL&D and we are so grateful for our volunteer community!
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Direct services to clients (i.e. front desk support)
- Direct support in program delivery and coordination in the Immigrant Women Integration Program
- Direct participant support and tutoring in the Academic Upskilling program
- Support of special events and seasonal community initiatives
- Fundraising & development
- Communications & outreach
- Other opportunities as they come up (research, project-based, community needs assessments)
Opportunities vary from time to time depending on availability. We are happy to host casual volunteers as well as placement students from universities, colleges and upskilling programs.
If you enjoy connecting with people, have good communication skills and are comfortable using digital technology, we would love to hear from you!

Joining the CL&D Board of Directors provides an opportunity for direct input and support of the organization and the communities we work with. We are especially looking for individuals from our community and CL&D alumni to join our Board and support the continued growth of the Centre.
